Artist's Comments

This one, of the three still lifes I'm posting, was my favorite to do. I LOVED using texture. You can run your hand over this painting and actually feel bumps and dips. It's great. I guess acrylic paint is really good for this sort of thing.

Anyway, I used a number of objects to get the actual texture. I used some of the shaping tools I bought in the art supply store, but I also used a fork and cake decorating bags for the ropes and such.
